Pre-School

We have had a Pre-School group at Epiphany Church since 1982. It was first known as Red Breast Road Playschool, and some years later when the Playschool was facing closure, the Church Wardens and PCC made the decision to acquire the Playschool and Trustees from the church community were appointed.

We are open Monday to Friday during term time in the spacious Epiphany church hall. The purpose-built outdoor play area was refurbished recently partly funded by a grant received from Tesco.

The voluntary Trustees are appointed by the PCC and oversee the pre-school's management and finances. They have a range of different skills, including childcare, teaching, IT, and bookkeeping. The Trustees are committed to maintaining the pre-school as part of the church family. All Trustees have relevant DBS checks.
