Church Activities

Epiphany Bright Stars Toddler group

We welcome children from birth until school age to join us with their parent or carer on a Tuesday afternoon 1.30 to 3 pm during term time (for term dates, please find details on the Epiphany School website)

We provide a safe place for children to play with a large selection of toys, we provide a snack for the children, and a cuppa and biscuits for grown ups.

Each week we have a different craft to explore, and we have a team of friendly helpers who can help introduce new families.

The suggested donation is £1 per family.

No need to book but if you have any questions please feel free to email me at: epiphanybrightstars@gmail.com

We look forward to welcoming you,

Jodie and the Bright Stars team

“It wasn’t the apple that caused the trouble in the Garden of Eden, it was the pair on the ground”

Although we take the Bible seriously, we do enjoy studying together, sharing our thoughts, our doubts, our questions, and praying that God’s word will inform and challenge us.

Music and Choir

Do you enjoy singing? Did you used to sing, but perhaps you haven’t sung recently?

Come and join us for our choir practices on Fridays from 7.00 – 8.00pm - usually on the 2nd and 4th Friday evenings of each month (please check the Calendar for dates).

The choir is a robed choir and leads the Sunday Communion Services. For informal services including Breakfast Praise on the first Sunday of each month, the choir are dressed informally in navy blue.

The choir sings a wide variety of hymns, from the traditional often in four parts, to modern worship songs accompanied by the organ, digital piano or by our instrumental group. There are choir social events from time to time. There are no membership costs involved.

Singing is so beneficial for everyone’s well-being. It’s a relaxing exercise and it also provides the opportunity to meet with other people in a friendly setting.
Come and join us!

If you require any further information please contact the Director of Music, Mrs Susan Bright via e-mail: susan.bright13a@gmail.com

About Holy Epiphany Church Choir

Our choir comprises a very friendly group of people, and we warmly welcome new members of any age, including children.

The choir sings from a rich heritage of traditional Christian hymns alongside music from Iona (John Bell) and Taize, as well as music written by many contemporary composers such as Bernadette Farrell, Paul & Kristen Getty, Graham Kendrick, Margaret Rizza, Christopher Tambling and Stuart Townend.

Several different settings of the Sung Eucharist are used which add variety to our Communion services. All settings follow the Common Worship service books of the Church of England.

Our instrumental group accompanies our Breakfast Praise services, and other services during the year. At present, we have clarinets, flutes, keyboard, and drums. We also have many percussion instruments which children (and adults if they wish) can use to join in with the hymns for that service. Additional instrumentalists are always welcome to join our instrumental group.
